AFC ANNUAL AWARDS DOHA

Asian Football Confederation

A Pico and Slick partnership for the AFC Annual Awards 2023 celebrated excellence in Asian football, reinforcing the confederation’s vision to elevate the sport across the continent. My role focused on developing the key visual (KV) and contributing to the concept, while Pico’s Dubai team developed all final graphics and renders.

The "Pearl of the Middle East" concept was inspired by Qatar’s pearl diving heritage, using circular forms and mother-of-pearl to convey richness, prestige, and movement. Following the guidelines and logo provided, the KV holds:

• The royal blue from AFC is combined with Qatar’s national colour
• Golden-rimmed circular elements, evoking footballs and radiating energy
• Three pearl symbols beneath the AFC Awards logo
